Nice motor Chip!
I’m still keeping my eye out for a boat like yours up here.

It was bound to happen I hit something with the aluminum propeller and knocked the blade out of shape. Loss of rpm's and a little vibration. SS prop shopping today. The factory prop size is 11.1 X 14, I've herd to drop an inch in pitch when going to stanless 11.1 X 13. What's ya'll thoughts or experience with this. No tach yet. What is your thoughts on Solas SS props?

Solas are pretty good props for the money. I would go to the 13 normally, but light as your boat is that motor probably would still swing a 14 at rpm it should. You really need a tach to set up right. Ideal thing is try both props before buying. Might ask around some one around you may have a prop you could try. Think, Merc and Yamaha will both fit that motor.

Is there a prop shop nearby. They might have some try props and they might sell you a second hand one for a saving. You Still need a tach to tell if you’re over reving or over loading. Borrow one or buy one, you need it.

There's a prop shop in Alex but naturally they were closed today, another thing I can't get used to is the barbershop closed on Wednesday.
