Thread: Shrimping

Well with the wiers being closed at my normal place to shrimp (Big Lake) I decided dad and I needed to make the hour drive to Sabine. Had reports that they were doing good there. As usual, the reports were about 2 wks old and the water was high so only ended up with half a limit and I worked my tail off for them!!! Only caught 10 crabs but some of them were huge! Did manage to find some fish though! Caught a TON of rat reds below the slot. Caught a couple specks and a guy gave us 2 flounder. Sorry I didn't take any pictures out there but it was raining off and on. Here are the Pictures I did take. Oh and the crabs were full! I only eat about 2 crabs a year and I only ate 1 yesterday and I was full! Mom and dad, who can normally eat 6-12 a sitting each only ate 2 and were full!
