Got to love that puck your own kind! I especially like that U do mine in my front yard! Have 1 bush that is probably 6 - 7 years old that produced very well this year. Have 2 others that are younger and should do well in the next few years.Name: 20180604_202516.jpeg

I have 3 bushes that I put in last Fall. Hopefully one day I'll get to pick my own. Meanwhile I have friends with bushes but it's been so dry here that the berries are small and drying on the bush. Not a good year for blueberries.

Mine have done great with the dry weather. If you look close at the picture, the lighter colored berries are actually bigger but I don't get near as many off that tree. The 2 kinds I have are tip blue (best producer) and premier (bigger berries but not as many).

You can freeze them in zip lock bags.

My parents have three bushes in their back yard. They cover them with green netting to keep birds away. They don't use spray of any kind on their bushes and they always have more blueberries than they can eat. Already getting some this year. One of my favorite summertime treats is the blueberry pie Mom makes at least once a week this time of year. It's not a cobbler or one of those chilled pies, but a plate pie with crust on top......it is darn good!

used to have bunch of old bushes on lake place my wife's family had and that's when I got hooked on fresh blueberries. Don't have that anymore, nor the wife but thinking of putting some in where I live now. thanks for the report and thread.
