Ann said that she was going to make the fresh pico de gallo this evening. Didn't trust her, made it myself with fresh cilantro, red onions, etc.:



That there I could scoop up and put in a fresh taco shell all by itself and tear it up. Which, I may do now that I think about it.

As some of you know, I frequent Lowe's regular on weekends. I'm there when they open the doors (6 am on Saturday, 8 am on Sunday). This is after sharing two pots of coffee with Ann after getting up and reading the paper. The only time to go to Lowe's is then, only four or five guys in the entire store. I'm known to walk around there with my shorts, crocs, and socks on. Next weekend will be the Svengoolie T-shirt and the Captain America socks Ann gave me for Christmas with my crocs on:



That's the way to roll. Chicks flat tear that up.

Finished another shop addition to keep my wood working tools in, more room now in my main shop. Bought a Kobalt 40V cordless electric pole saw. That's the cat's meow. Was getting old climbing on ladders with the gas chain saws trimming the multiple tree branches out here.

Wiped out the fresh scallops we had the past couple of nights, coconut crusted with an orange sauce they were. Rib-eyes on the grill this evening with fresh hash browns it will be.

Will be watching the animated movie Monsters vs. Aliens this evening after the rib eyes. Don't kid yourself, Dr. Cockroach, PHD knows his business.

Ah yes, Lowes the Wal-Mart of home improvement stores, same as Home Depot. We lost our last mom and pop hardware store about 2 years ago and it sucks big time.

We still have ours and it's great
