Not sure where that info came from but I watched the opening and they sang the National Anthem and all the players they showed were standing and most had to their hand over their heart.I
They had 16 Medal of Honor recipients with one WWII doing the coin toss.
Maybe the NFL finally got the message.
Incidentally, this is my first game to watch this season, and only because two of our local guys are playing in it. Alshon Jeffery for the Eagles and Stephon Gilmore for the Patriots. Two of the best to ever play for South Carolina.

I read in the newspaper that Terrell Owens was elected to the 2018 NFL Hall of Fame. He told his critics to "kick rocks". I can't stand that punk, he's has an IQ of a tomato.
Randy, don't insult the tomato like that! I thought you said you were going to be good! lol

They did the anthem. No kneeling shown that I saw, but the anthem was almost finished being screeched by Pink when I turned it on. Don't think there was any kneeling. They even had a WW2 vet flip the coin and had a group of Medal of Honor vets on camera.Trying to make up I guess(hypocrites). I watched the beginning and end. Movie in between. Watched parts of 3 games all season. I pretty much had given it up last year though, before the kneeling. Randy I agree about T.Owens. But imo not as bad as Ray Lewis. He bought his way out of a murder wrap. Hall of Fame is tarnished forever. My nephew has plans for us to visit the Hall in Canton on the way home from the Michigan C.c event in June. Not as up for it as I was. Think I will just skip it and watch grass grow.

I am enjoying immensely teaching our up and coming drilling engineers again this semester. Huge fun, enjoying this.

Danny instead of the football hall of fame, stop in at the rock and roll hall of fame.....same neck of the woods.

Well gotta see/catch one first. Been going after the elusive sauger. Supposed to be awesome fare. I would not know. I will probably drop a rod in the water if I ever get a bite. It has been several trips with no bites for me.(yes Randy and Bruce, using minnows on 3/4 ounce jigs. Normal bait for here in current ) Maybe the water will get above 40 degrees someday. They are jamming it through the dam at the moment. Tn. river flowing rapidly. Went down to Shiloh today. Randy, you would love it. Loaded with monuments. Great yearly reenactment. Awesome and serene to visit. Mae and I like to go sit in the National Cemetery and look out at the river and reflect on things. Did see a couple fish splash. Now heading back to bad weather for a couple days. That's the story over here in Tn. folks. My fish story: Left La. fish now biting in every puddle in the state. Arrived Tn. fish disappeared. At least now I know it is my fault. lol
