Default This Is How I Do It......

Backing up the truck to the boat can be a challenge to some (me) lining up the truck hitch with the trailer.....so, I devised a method that was easy for me....I put a piece of yellow electrical tape on the center of my tailgate (right above my trailer hitch)....then another piece on my boat cover at the center of the trailer.....in order to know how far to back it in, I picked a point of reference on my truck on the step up rail and spray painted a black dot on the concrete driveway.....when those 2 points line up, I park it.....it stays hooked up 90% of the time anyway.....first pic, of course, is looking out my rear window showing the 2 pieces of tape lining up........gotta get some sleep....pulling out at 4 in the morning (Henderson)....

Great idea Bruce. I use the "i" on my Crappie.Com gold decal on the rear window to line up with the end of my troll moter bracket. How far to back up, I look left until I line up even with the end of the travel trailer. Works 9 times out of ten.

I likes the "Security camera in use" on the tail gate for sure. I don't like leaving my truck in some places when kayak fishing and have thought about something like a statement
saying "multiple security cameras surrounding this truck". I use some game cameras for security around our home that I check daily. So far the deer haven't learned what the cameras are for. Most folks haven't learned where they are yet. I get license plates coming and going. Security matters.

Good idea Bruce. I have four trailers I have to back into for various activities, unfortunately the trailer wheels won't move on the limestone I have laid. Have to get it exact. Got it down pretty good, only have to get out of the truck once when close to judge the distance and angle for the right alignment.

The security camera in use is excellent. I used to get permanent tags on my boat trailers, not no more. Had two stolen at the public ramp at Henderson. Other trailers have them.

That's cool guys....but it will cost me a heck of a lot more to update my truck than it did to update my phone...

Dwayne did, the one I put into the raffle. You're right, they're cheap and they do work well. Used it a couple of times, but was too busy looking into the mirrors, etc. to get use to it. Gave up, went back to my old ways.
