I'm living in the past with a old Samsung flip phone so of course this thread greatly interest me.I am way overdue a new phone--been dragging my feet over getting 2 for the better half and myself for a long time.Past time to pull the trigger.Am not at all sure of what I want to get....

You will love it. I switched from apple to samsung s7 active. I love mine. I has been wet and under water many times and still ticking. Just dont press the buttons while under water.

I have lost or soaked many of phones. I have had them so sweaty working the battery shocked me in my pocket. Every iphone i had has had a lifeproof on it and they will wear out or crack when dropped. Life proof covers the case not the phone. So when the s7 active came out i got it..... a year + later and many many drops and soaking it is still working. Last week my daughter dropped it flat on its screen and now i have a line on the screen not a crack just a digital line.. but it is minor. Just remember the screen is plastic not glass. I had some quarters in my pocket after getting ice and now i have a vibration ring in one corner.
