I had planned on having this surgery for some time now, the Dr went in and removed some of the scapulah from my nasal passage to allow for better air flow. I can finally breath out of both nostrils, the down side was finding out I had a reaction to the steroids that he prescribed prior to the procedure, they made me feel like I was having a heart attack. So here is some pictures I feel better than I look. The fish had better be aware this face is coming to a lake near you.

Fellas thanks for the kind words, I got the results back on the type of infection and started taking the correct antibiotics, the swelling, nasal draining and pain were gone overnight. I was just thinking how we could put that picture on a crank bait, it wouldn't even have hooks just pass about 2' from the fish and they would turn belly up and float to the surface and we could skoop them up. LOL

call me when you come to Dubisson....prayers sent for a great recovery......
Get well soon. I had simular done in 2006. I hope you dont have the supports in the nasal pasages like i had. The removal was the worst part. They were like perforated tubes to let it drain ans support it while it healed a week or so.

I just reread what I posted in the original post and am surprised no one caught the mistake, as you can see the surgery was on my nose "septa" and not my collarbone "scapulah" sorry I must have still ben under the influence of the anesthesia. JKCCKC2002 luckly my procedure was not serious enough for the tubes, but it was discussed prior to the surgery. I have a follow up appointment Friday and hope to get the all clear to start fishing again, I hate wasting these beautiful conditions we are having low bar. pressure 35 mph southeast winds and rain.
