Yesterday the wind was brutal so no fishing. We decided to go crabbing in some canals somewhat protected from the wind. We rode around in places I'm not familiar with until we found a lot of commercial crab traps. We set our drop nets among them and came home with a nice mess, around 70 crabs. We invited some friends over and had a feast.

A little tip to keep the claws and legs on crabs, soak them in ice and water before you boil them.

I could hurt myself right there, if I didn't give out too quick.

Corn on the cob and boiled taters too. Health food for sure.
