Thanks for sharing that heart warming story to remind us of how God gets us to the places He wants or needs us to be.
Hey fishing friends I have a story to share on what happened to me this morning. I got up and was starting to make a pot of coffee. A voice in my head said you don't need to make a pot of coffee a cup from the convenience store is all you need. Well I am standing in line waiting to pay when the girl with a baby in her arms is asking about the can of fix a flat in her hand, I said hey do you need help. She said no. The cashier said I know him he is in here all the time he is a good guy. Well I am changing her tire and she starts saying how she didn't know what she was going to do stranded with her baby and not knowing how to change a tire. She had just moved here and her husband was out of town working and she knew no one to help her. I looked up at her laughed and told her about me and the coffee this morning. She was like wow. I told her what was weird was I hate convenience store coffee. God does work in mysterious ways doesn't he!

Yes, mysterious to us but not to Him.....how many times have you ever had that inner voice tell you to call someone out of the blue and when you do you find out that person had some need that your call provided....He talked....you listened....someone was Blessed....including you....
Great story Don.....good Faith builder....
Very nice Don, many of us have been in such situations but fail to recognize them.
Some years back my brother in law and I ended up on a dark and lonely road by a mistaken turn. With no way to turn around for 7 miles we rode on. Just as we got to the turnaround there was a car sitting there with a flat and a woman who didn't know anything about changing it. I approached cautiously and identified myself. She was scared stiff, but allowed me to approach her. She explained her situation, a car full of kids and traveling to a relatives house, when her tire went flat. BIL and I changed the tire and put on a half inflated spare. We told her to drive to the nearest town which was about 15 miles but not to exceed 35 mph on the low tire. She went off and we returned back to our car. Our wives had decided then and there that the reason we made a bad turn was the work of God.

Once, on a weekday, fishing way in the back of Bayou Corne, I decided to end an uneventful day of fishing by myself.....as I came to the end of the dead end canal I was fishing and starting to turn left, I looked to my right see if a boat was coming.....something told me, you have never been back there, why don't you go see what it looks like....so I turned right and took off taking myself further away from the boat landing.....when I neared the end of the canal there was a 90 degree turn to the right....then I saw a boat come around that turn with a guy stooping on the front deck paddling with a 1 x 6 board.....he had a 19 foot fiberglass bass boat with a 200 HP motor and he was fighting a losing battle going upwind.....and the wind was winning after he made that turn....his motor had died and he had run down his trolling batteries....suddenly, I realized why my "Inner Voice" had spoken to me and it put a smile on my face....we were probably the last 2 guys in that area that day.....during the long tow back, we realized that we both had a common Friend and thanked Him for our Blessings....
Lesson learned.....try to listen to that "inner Voice"....it could turn into a Blessing......
The "King" is coming
This could be the Day....

Great story Don. It always seems to work out when we listen to the man above, even though it doesn't make sense to us at the time. Thanks for sharing.

Love hearing each of your stories. Thank you for sharing them. Sometimes I get that out of the ordinary pull to do something and consider it the Holy Spirit working on me... Can't ignore it.
