    Default Bodcau wma deer.


    trying to get back into hunting, but deer leases seem outrageous around these areas so I'm kind of stuck with public land this year. Has anyone ever had any luck deer hunting on bodcau wma? Not asking for any particular spots but maybe a couple quick tips if possible. Thank yall.

    So I got ahold of the wma biologist supervisor and he gave me these numbers in case anyone wants to know:
    254 bow hunting efforts 8 deer harvested 79 bucks / 82 does 32.8 efforts / deer harvested

    2420 gun hunting efforts 161 deer harvested 7 bucks / 1 doe 15 efforts / deer harvested

    93 primitive firearm efforts 2 deer harvested 0 bucks / 2 does 46.5 efforts / deer harvested

    TOTALS: 2,767 deer hunting efforts 171 deer harvested 86 bucks / 85 does 16.2 efforts / deer harvested

    Bodcau is LOADED with deer...do your homework, get a map online, and do some driving around and scouting. I know guys who hunt only Bodcau and get their limit easily every season.
