Default Sunny Day & the Hawk's are Nesting

Today has been beautiful, sunny, and with low humidity. The hawks have returned to the same nest from last year and we have babies, at least two. There's a little sparrow nest by the gate that the dogs can't get to so I'll be able to watch the babies there too. The wild iris are blooming by the edge of the woods and the doggies are happy. What more could you ask for.

These are the baby hawks. I see two fuzzy heads here.

I noticed the sparrow nest has been padded with goat hair.

It's that time of the year. We have a pair of hawks way up in a tree in our front yard and blue birds everywhere. Got to get the martin house up and build some blue
bird houses. Nice photos Randy. We don't got no goats in our neighborhood now.

Super cool photos. Thanks for sharing. What kind of cookies do the dogs get? I may want to stop by if I ever get down that way. LOL.

Got these pics yesterday. One of the little squirts was being brave and checking out the world. I do believe his little crop is full of frog. I saw Mom/Dad swoop down and pic up a good sized frog and head back to the nest about an hour earlier.
