Mine was doing great until last weeks rains. My tomatoes have taken a turn for the worse. They looked beautiful but now some are wilting and loosing leaves. I had a row of contender bush beans that were flowering lay over. Everything else is doing fine.

Tomatoes are doing fine but peas, beans, and melons are struggling with too much water. Eggplant, peppers, and squash are living, but not thriving yet. Okra has sprouted and looks like it's doing well. Probably going to have to replant the peas and watermelon. Expecting up to four more inches of rain between now and Saturday...sure don't need it.

Don I have a limited garden this Spring. My onions are finally starting to bulb. I only have around 10 tomato plants this year compared to 80 last year, but those 10 are doing well. I will be planting okra soon. My fig trees are showing good promise of an abundant season. I will plant my snap been in the Fall this year as I have enough to carry me through the summer canned from last year.

Tomatoes are looking good, cucumbers just now getting started good (I waited to start because of the cold snaps). Tators in the ground last weekend. Watermelon looks promising. My citrus trees are going crazy.

Tried something new this year, I made a hydroponics garden off of my back porch. I just got everything transplanted yesterday. I have tomatoes, cucumber and zucchini planted. Excited to see how that will turn out. I did get my potatoes planted the traditional way about a month back and they are looking really good!

Don, I kind of did a hybird. I have a recirculating pump that pushes the water up 1" PVC to 2 separate 1/2" PVC poles with 4 way drip lines on top of them. I then attach the lines from the drippers into my grow buckets which are set in the lids of my holding buckets. The holding buckets have an overflow at the bottom that dumps into a 2" return line that feeds back to the pump. Right now, I just have the drip lines directly into the grow buckets but once the roots get long enough, the dripper line will just feed directly into the holding bucket. Sure hope it works but all the reviews I have watched on youtube seems to be promising!

Had a thunderstorm roll through yesterday afternoon the layed over some of my knee high sweet corn but it will usually straighten itself up. Nothing else hurt. Waiting another week to plant okra and a little field corn for the critters.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
