I would love to see the larto one
While killing time until Thursday and what better way to spend a cold misty day, I started cleaning out some shelves in my Man Cave. I found a stack of Louisiana Game&Fish magazines with many articles on Crappie fishing the most popular lakes in the state. Some of them covered are D'Arbonne, Larto, Claiborne, Verrett, Lake Bistineau, Grand Bayou, Atchafalya Basin, Caney Creek, Poverty Point and more. If anyone is interested in reading material I can bring them up and put them on the table in Cabin #9 for all to see and take if you want.
What y'all think?

ps: Many of the fall and winter issues cover deer and duck hunting also.

Hey Gene, if you have the 2011 February issue (Februrary 2011 Vol. 2011.No.1) of the Mississippi - Louisiana Game & Fish magazine, there is a picture (actually 2) taken by our very own Sneaky Pete. One of them is of me holding up a nice slab that says it was caught on Darbonne bayou, but it was actually caught on Bundicks and the other one is of a guy we met out at Lacassine that caught a very nice bass (9lbs 6oz) caught that April. They are on page 34 & 35.

Sorry no MS magazines, but in one of the ones I have there is something about Bundicks. Also many of them have deer hunting articles and stories about LA hunting.

Since my son in law will be with Pastor and I, I think I'll have him reading all the how to articles and tell us what to do to catch the big ones. He can't catch fish anyway.
