Nice setup.......Just curious is it dual fuel or only natural gas?

Usually a one day job and these guys knew what they were doing......the only difficulty was writing the check......that was painful......if you are in a flood zone, you need a flood certificate (these guys took care of that for me).....they took care of the parish permits for plumbing (gas), electrical, and mechanical......

Does it have a battery charger/maintainer? Just curious. I bought one for mine, but don't stayed plugged in. I figured with a hurricane coming, I'll plug in - only when I'm home. I jump start it with the truck on occasion.

Mine is a Generac just like Bruce's. It has a charging circuit to keep battery charged when it does it's weekly test run. I will go out and just fire it up and let it run for 30 minutes about once a month to make sure it stays charged.
Bruce, my installer explained to me that you can get an adapter for the flex line that will hook to a propane bottle. He said it will run good on propane but not have quite the power as NG. Be a real rare occasion to loose natural gas, but could happen in a bad flood given the right circumstances.

The reason I asked was not to elicit a smart response from a mod! It was genuine curiosity, In the unfortunate event of a really bad storm I would think gas service could be interrupted.... certainly not an issue the vast majority of the time.
When Hugo strolled through Charleston we were without power and gas for more than 10 days.....
