Well, the rumors are in full force. I'm hearing that Miles will step down this week.
Yes he is likable, better than that Sabin guy. I think he still has a year, but he still doesn't have a top notch QB for next year. I don't think Fournette is tired, I think the offense is limited by not being able to trust the QB and losing the fullback, so starting with BAMA they just started teeing off on Fournette every play he is in.

It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

I agree Barneyrb, if he steps down, there is probably some agreement. Allowing someone to step down is generally a way of letting someone save face; in this case, everyone would know that it was a forced decision. It may also be a means to not affect recruiting as much.

I have heard the same thing today. The LSU athletic foundation is self-funded, they actually give money back into the LSU system. They have the cash much like Texas has. No problem for those folks at LSU, and they'll do it in a heartbeat. What they need is an established coach, not an up-and-coming coach. For example, Jimbo Fisher at Florida State. They could buy him in a heartbeat.
Here I am talking about how to strengthen LSU - our opponent in the SEC West. Never mind.
