    Default Recycle day

Loaded up the trailer with aluminum (cans, roasting pans, etc.) this morning bright and early. Here at LA scrap:

    Nice load this time:

I burn paper products and recycle what I can. My trash for the week for pick-up is normally one trash bag. Since I was in the area, stopped at my favorite Mexican grocery. Glad I was early:

These tunas are huge, made me jealous. Wish they would let them ripen before picked, but would spoil making the long trip north:

Serious produce at that place. This is one section of the meat counter, not wrapped all pretty in Styrofoam trays:

This Chicano pulled off a nice beef skirt (fajita) for me:

I'll tenderize and marinate this morning to be grilled this evening along with some fresh made Pico de Gallo. The lunch counter looked enticing, but avoided this time. Otherwise I'd be worthless for the rest of the day:

I meant to pick up some white polenta (grits) for Bruce, but forgot. Sorry Bruce.

Thought I'd share this morning. Back to work. Thanks for looking.

I figured that would get a rise from you Gene. Unique place for sure, all is fresh. On Bertrand, between Willow and Cameron - not far off the interstate. You will like, I promise.

Chilling big time around the house. Big band and jazz going on right now, just music. I like:

You would think I would have better things to do. Guess not. Calling it good - pooped.

For some reason it's hard to find good cuts of skirt at the regular grocery. Don't know why since fajitas are so popular at the restaurants. If you fellas like goat cheese, this place has a huge variety. .
