Default YES! We Have Some Bananas

As yall know we had a very hard(for us) freeze winter before last. It froze our bananas to the ground. Well they sprouted up and now after 2 seasons have put forth their first bloom. Here is a short post of the opening bloom and baby naners.

That's really neat. By the way did you ever cook and eat any of yard long green beans? If so how did they compare to regular pole beans?
    Tell'em I'll be there.

We had the first batch of yard long beans for supper tonight I smothered them down like regular green beans and they were great!! I plan to post a report with pictures and such tomorrow but they smothered down great and I like the taste. A lil different but very good. I refuse to judge till I dont cook them down so much. Plan to try them on the grill this weekend.
