Ifn I was there and te lake was windy yall could fight it I'd stay at camp keep da coffee warm and woop up a big batch of camp eggs or scrambled egg jumbalaya for a late breakfast when yall got back. Love a hearty late camp breakfast that will hold ya over till supper.

That works for us for sure when we're at Toledo Bend for the gathering.

I skipped the fishing today. Was cold and windy early. Not many good fish caught, the size limit is 12 inches. That is nice size. The meal was great. Way to many fish defrosted and cooked. ScottV brought 5 gallons and several other people brought some. Big filet's. We ended up sending about 4 gallons back home. Loads of deserts!! Randy they tore up my red beans and pecan pies. Had a great time meeting so many people. Lot's of bull shooting.I ended up buying a couple 4 pole spyder locks. That spider rigging is fun. Now for a few nights in Tennessee, then on to Tallahassee for another C.c event next weekend. Also, for you deer watchers. This campground is full of them. We counted 25 behind our camper at 6:30 this evening. Great times, life is grand.
