Glad to hear you were at least able to make it home...thats a bad deal to be fully immobile and at the mercy of the nearest money hungry wolf. Hopefully youll never have another issue with those heavier duty axles.
I had a 2001 28RK Montana 5th wheel. We went on the road full time for four years. We pulled that thing from Mi. to Calif and back several times. We went all through the Southwest and all along the Louisiana swamp route. I have no idea how many miles were on it. But the 2001 Dodge diesel we pulled it with had over 100,000 on it. Great truck & 5th wheel. Traded it for a 2004 Wildcat, got rid of a better 5th, wheel than we bought. Kept that a couple years and traded for a 2011 Sierra. It's a nice one and 32' with a 16' Smokercraft behind it..
