Well dadgummit......if I was there I would fix it for you.....you could cook and I could work on the boat.

Sounds like me.....lol. I replaced spark plugs, fuel hoses, bulb, connects, chased a drivers side tail light short, and replaced an oil bath hub seal. I still have to change the front interior light, the power wire to the rear sonar and replace the transducer. One good thing about going thru a few cheap humming bird piranhas is that I have plenty spare parts. Oh I almost forgot the spare tire wont hold air anymore due to dry rot and needs replacing. Thank God I down sized from fishing offshore. That use to be 3 times the boat, twice the motors, miles of wiring, and $100 times the expense on maintenance.

For the trailer tail lights, rust or corrosion when the bulbs are good. some waterproof lights the ground is made through the mounting bolts . Remove the fixture, clean away any rust and use some waterproof grease and reinstall. Rust on the trailer hitch ball can make you think lights need replacing

Fish on line I learned all that the hard way...lol. 2 years I got tired of replacing tail lights once or twice a year from salt water and installed posts for my lights. My lights never get submerged anymore. I spray my ball and any corrosion points on lights with Fluid Film. If you haven't heard about this stuff you need to try it. It isn't cheap either. It works wonders. Rust won't form with this stuff. A buddy of mine who works for Shell Pipeline turned me on to this stuff. My electrical problem was a splice I made last year with a plug inside the frame rail. I re-spliced with shrink tubing this time.

I hear you Cappy. Boat, three trailers, tractor, ATV cart, etc. around here. Believe me, I get very frustrated at times. Always something it seems.
