Thread: How do I add a picture in a pm?

I never could figure it out either.....so, when I needed to do this, I just used regular email......

Post your picture on the test board.....its down near the bottom of the index page.....then copy it.......then go to pm and paste it.

The url it is asking for is the picture url from a picture hosting site like photobucket.

I dont use photobucket so I use the copy and paste method.

OK.....I will show my ignorance and ask the question.......since no one else is.....

where is this "index page".....if I can get there maybe I can find out where this "test board" is.....

"G"....I did try to copy & paste to a PM from my desktop also but that did not work.....

When you go to www.crappie.com that should be the forum index page.....if it is not the what ever page your on at upper left click on forums....that should take you to it. Scroll down the page....test board is down near the bottom.

The forum software does not allow picture uploads in pms. I don't know why, I looked for options to change it but it's just the way it's been designed.

You can not copy and paste from your pc/desktop. All images need to be uploaded to a server on the Internet to be displayed here or anywhere for that matter.

To get a pic into a pm, just like g says, post it first on a forum. I use the test forum also. It's burried under misc..

once its it's posted in a forum, then you can copy it, and paste it into a pm. It's actually just copying the pictures location/url and displaying it from there.

got it......I finally figured that it had to be in the CDC system to make it happen......thanks Slab & "G".........
