Randy follow your satsuma recipe. I am about to make another batch soon because I am down to my last jar. I have 12 1/2 pints of satsuma jelly in the pantry for my yearly ration...lol. I was talking to an acquaintance the other day about jelly and found out he has 8 large may-haw trees on his property. He said he doesn't fool with them. So we worked out a deal that I can go pick all I want for a few jars of jelly. I can't wait.

Love the pics and thread. Sure will be glad when Spring arrives up here in the Ohio valley. Yea, it will be a while but I'm already making plans for this years gardening projects. Had to throw in a pic of a tomato just for good measure.

Well I am happy to report that I (well my mom and me) took the Satsuma jelly that didn't set, poured it back into the pot, added some more pectin and re made the Satsuma jelly and it has set just fine! And the flavor is still there! Thanks guys!

Nice beef steaks. I hope to have a few that pretty this spring. Shadow I had to do the same the first time I made it too....lol. I messed up and added sugar before pectin. I took an updated picture today. I opened it up to let the garden enjoy the nice weekend weather and let the sun dry it out from all the rain we had been having. I picked a head of romaine and made a grilled pork loin Caesar salad with a pig I shot back in November. I don't care what anyone says. Nothing tastes better than the fruits of your labor.
