    You may want to check with your insurance agent. Some of your loss may be covered. A couple years ago, We lost power for several days and lost freezer contents. My homeowners kicked in and picked up most of the tab, considering I had just filled it with a side of beef and 100 pounds of pork sausage, I was very happy.
