I am not familiar with banana spiders, but have never been bitten by any spider as far as I know.

You know Fall is here when you see the banana spiders. The big webs they spin between the trees in the yard. Bright orange the webs are that span several feet between the trees. I have always found it interesting that they can they can do that 20 plus feet or more, and the webs are as tough as fishing line. They do bite, but not too bad. I still have no feeling on a tip of one of my fingers where a black widow bit me picking black berries.

    Spiders give me the creeps.

I hate walking through their web in the dark going squirrel hunting. Nothing wakes you up faster than a spider on your face. :D

I had that happen to me walking down my driveway to take the garbage out. Lucky the bag didn't break when I dropped it to start dancing. Lol hate webs across the face, but the big spider on my glasses was what really freaked me out that night.
