Ann, being the Geologist she is, would tear up those road cuts ya'll passed through. Thanks so much for posting and thinking about us - love it. We do need to see what you're eating though . Be safe, we're there with you guys.

I like geology, too. There's a neat set of books titled "Roadside Geology of [state]" that describes the geology along the major roads. My wife and I get them when we travel out west and she reads them aloud as we drive down the highway. You can learn a lot from them.

I was thinking of you and Didi when I saw snow on the weather forecast. Take it easy and keep it safe. Looks like we will have a low pressure area move into the gulf after crossing Florida in a few days. That should raise the tide levels but I hope it doesn't turn into anything nasty. We could all use a quite year.

Don't overdue it Bruce. We spent last night and tonight in Sikeston Mo. Heading to Springfield Ill, Elkhart In, Louiville Ky, and Nashville Tn. Will post a few pix in a four thread set after it's over. Maybe some on the way. 2 highlights so far. Ate at Lambert's Throwed roll resturant and stopped off at Grizzly Jig store. Fine people they are. Louis is one nice man. Bought a few jigs and t-shirts of course. He has one room for just rods. Thousands easily. Any way Bruce keep us posted and be safe. I'll quit taking up your post now. Danny

Danny sounds like y'all on one heck of a trip too.

Nice pictures Bruce, I love the mountains and Linda hates even small hills.
