Took it out but the motor quit on me. Fortunately it did not bring me a long way out so we fished close to the ramp and caught a few small reds on shrimp. just the size we caught. Wasn't a good day for me because I am not the most patient person when stuff like this happens. Others around me suffer and that is not good. I show what I feel which is not what I should do and for that I need to change. This is nothing new for me and it is the reason I sold the last boat I owned. We were not meant to fish in the boat this trip and that, I get. But looked forward to this for a year, hence some frustration.

Bummer about the boat motor, hate to hear that Tal. At least you were able to get away for a while, which for me, would be worth it. And, you are catching fish. Had the same thing happen to me a few years ago at Toledo Bend where my cranking battery died. Ended up being a blown fuse on the engine block. The motor was running off the battery and not the alternator. Just thought I'd mention that. Keep the pictures coming, we're enjoying them!

dropped the boat off today. We'll see what the diagnosis is.
