Default 16 F degrees this morning when I left for work

I don't recall it being this cold here in a long time. I for one, don't care for this at all. Looks like the upper 60's this weekend though.

last time it was this cold i lived in Cartersville Ga....i had recently bought a new boat and had the weekend off.....drove to lake seminole on a Sat. afternoon and fished Sunday morning....nery a nibble bass fishing.....ice was forming in the eyes of the rod.....what we do because of new boats......the flip side of that sad story is a trip taken to lake weiss around the same time.....not as cold but still pretty cold.....frustrated and cold...had trouble finding the channel markers....found a spot out of the wind..happened upon a slow rattle trap retrieve pattern and found the biggest number and size of bass in my life.......this is an old addiction....only the species has changed....

I have it from a reliable source that this is a long term addiction and that there is no known cure. It can be treated by leaving your money and cards at home and just walk the isles at your local sporting goods store. Remember leave all money or other resources at home. When you leave the store you will have relived some of your past trips and will not have spent any money. In the event you still feel the need to spend money PM me at once and I will tell you where to send the check as I am feeling to need for a fix. I mean ................. well you know.

While you guys are enjoying all that cold weather down there, stir up those fire ant beds and kill as many as you can before they get up my way. Winter
mix here tomorrow, then maybe a little warming trend. Just need about 24 inches of rain for our lakes plus all the run off we can catch.

All summer I wished for cool weather. Now I'm sick of it.

..slid through major intersection very slowly and everyone missed me.
Was 16* and wind blown snow at times with limited visibility. Got wife to
Doctor's appointment with time to spare. All is well now.
