Alright I do enjoy a good movie. But to list the one's i like the best i gotta break things down a little bit.

In the action / drama area...

The Kings Speech (Awesome.... just awesome movie.. you gotta pay attention though)
    Unthinkable
Cloud Atlas (another one where you gotta really be able to pay attention)
    Bourne Trilogy
    Rounders
Get the Gringo (Gibson has caught a lot of #### lately for being a bit wacky, but darn that man can still act!)
    Skyfall
Invictus (AMAZING MOVIE.... the real life events were possibly even more amazing)
    Lincoln Lawyer
    Lincoln
Ghost and the Darkness (Probably one of my all time favorites)
    Hobbit
    Lord of the Rings

    for comedy's / animated

    Hangover series.
    Hot Fuzz
    Shaun of the Dead
    Gnomeo and Juliet
Despicable Me (hoping to see part 2 soon)

I love movies and a lot of those you all listed are pretty high in my book, especially anything John Wayne or Cary Grant.

Mr. Holland's Opus is also one of my favorites and an old one called Man's Favorite Sport. You fishermen would get a kick out of that one if you haven't seen it.

Hollywood Canteen is another good classic
    Cars
    How to Train A Dragon
    Battleship

List is too long. Fun thread though!

On Golden Pond hasn't been mentioned. But my Favorite is still " Always " I saw a Movie years ago and the Pilot was flying a PBY- Catalina. I developed a love for that pre War plane that could put Torpedos in the water. I purchased a set of plans To build one. I had a source that went out of business to purchase the Balsa wood and Radio Controll supllies needed The Wing span is 8 feet , and Fuselage is 6 feet. I was going to use a smaller pontoon plane as a trainer. I was going to fly both these at D'Arbonne

Life of Pi...well for one thing I'd need to watch it again...maybe a couple times more...seems like theres a lot more to the movie than special effects....strange but good....want to see red 2...comes out friday....also Lone ranger which is not getting good reviews...but I like unorthodox johnny depp.......pacific rim looks good if your into transformer types...
