    Default Fishing Magician


    I'm sure a lot of you remember Fishing Magician (aka Markham) who used to be very active on crappie.com. and a really great guy. He pursued his dream of becoming a charter captain and seems to be doing well. Found this report on the Louisiana Sportsman website. On there, Markham goes by the name Salty Dog, so you can pull up some of his old reports. I hope sometimes to be able to go down and hire him out for a day.

    i am planning a trip down in July and ran across his site last night...he is a bit more expensive than all the others but may have to give him a call! Would love to fish with him!

    He is quite a good fisherman hats off to him for chasing the dream. I did enjoy his post.

    If he is half as good at finding them down there as he was up here, a trip with him would be a blast! I am waiting for a reply from him now, planning a trip in July and going to try and go with him!

    Markham is a great fisherman and person. I know him and his family well and they are all TOP NOTCH! His sister (riverfish) mattie, still post some on CDC but haven't seen any in awhile. I can tell you if Markham doesn't get you on some fish, then there just were NOT any out there that day! I for one sure do miss Markham's long post with pictures, always felt he brought us along with him while reading his post.
