    Default BASS Classic

For the few of us who are interested, the Classic is taking place in Tulsa. Can get updates on the BASS sight. Weather was a cool 19 degrees this morning and some of the guys had snow in their boats. Worth it for a chance a $500,000 and all the future sponsor deals.

Interesting Danny. Die hards big time at 19 degrees and snow. I have fished a few times in Oklahoma, last time was last Spring at Lake Hugo. The wind really blows there, reminds me of West Texas. Someone told me that if the wind ever stopped blowing in Oklahoma that everyone would fall down. See, you did get a reply about bass fishing . Just teasing my friend.

Watched the weigh in all 3 days. Cliff Pace was meant to win. Caught 2 fish out of only 4 during the last hour Sunday. Since my guy, Alton Jones didn't fish Sunday, I was pulling hard for my number 2. Brandon Palunik fished great and came up just short. Still 2nd in his 3rd year is awesome. Met him last june at Toledo Bend. He spent a half hour talking to me and my son-in-law. He taught me a couple things about my Revo reels that has made them much easier for me to use. He was really down home. Seems grounded and has a great story and journeyman's background. The kind of young man any Dad would love for his daughter's to marry. With his ethic he'll win many more times. Yes, Randy, I know it's not shiner fishing, but I am hooked.
