    My first thought was of a salamander worm I had over 50 + years ago. Never caught a bass on it that I can remember but bream and war mouth loved it. I think you got a winner on this one.

    The pond I fished in was great for bass in 10 + pound class. Blue gills were in the half to a pound mark average. Not knowing it then but it was a well-balanced lake. It's still there but several owners since and I'm sure it's not what it was when I was a teenager.
