    Default Spring Spawn

I'll be glad when it's gone. I'm already tired of the 30 day fisherman clogging the ramps with their boats that havn't been used since last spring and won't crank now. The sorry a$$es that won't look for their own fish but more than willing to crowd you on yours. BTW, these were crappie wannabe fisherman not bassers. I'm thru ranting now.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I hear that!!! It amazes me how many folks own a boat and think it will just start cause it is in the water! Then they shadow you all day having to gun it everytime it cranks cause it's gummed up!
They cross your space, ask stupid questions yelling across the water (I really hate that!!) Especially in shallows where fish are spooked. Thats why i try to fish on weekdays all I can. Soon it'll be jet skis and joyriders too... GGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Darn, I need to stop asking people if they had any luck? But so far I hadn't yelled yet.

Nat you are right....I put in at Buddle Creek and you can't even find a place to park...and idiots...pull right in front of the ramp...and its all you can do to back the truck and trailer to the ramp... and then bank fisherpeople...park in front of the other ramp...and you can't even hardly pull out to tie everything off. I see now why people "nightstalk".

I got news for them if they crowd me on my fish....I ain't even found them yet. But I have noticed boats will be flying up the lake....then they back it down and work toward me...and some of them will get pretty close...

    Angry boat ramp manners!!

they need to take a class or have posting at the ramp on where to load and unload the darn boats!! seen two guys in tracker yesterday at highway 8 ramp when they pulled boat out on far right ramp, they sat they and threw trash away and then removed stuff from boat and put into truck!!! I hope they are reading this too!! you should only be at ramp area matters of very few short minutes!!unless you are by yourself, then it takes a little longer!! few weeks ago seen some so called wanna be bassers block two ramps talking with boats out of water but still in ramp area... gotta show off there 30,000 plus hole in the water!! they probably never got a fish either!! yep, them boats gonna make you catch more fish, right??

    Angry

saw one today run smack over the guide post that guide the boat on the trailer, broke that baby right off they did. Gheeez, they had the trailer in the water as i went to get my trailer and they were still trying to load that thing as i left the southmont ramp area, no telling how long they tried. I knew they were ole hands at it when they sunk the trailer up to the hitch in the water. Fools, gotta love them, except when they are in your way.

whew....thought you were going to say you saw someone loading a pontoon boat at Buttle Creek and miss the rails...and was on the trailer rocking the boat trying to get it off... the pontoons are harder to load when the wind is blowing... but I got it right the second time....

I believe I could load my boat in the dark blind folded, but my dad just told me one of my guide rails was missing. 2 miles from my house to the ramp and I aint seen it yet. Im on Norman anyway, and been the only boat at this ramp the past two times Ive been there. Idk where in the world that thing is. lol. Oh well.
