    Default High Rock-Good Day

Took guide trips out on both Friday and Saturday. Both days started out trolling at scattered depths but did the best about 20 feet deep and touching the bottom. About noon we started fishing around docks in protected coves in the sun. Areas that had sun most of the morning worked the best. Fish were in about 4 feet of water or a little less. The larger ones were not really relating to cover but seemed to be cruising. Minnows were used shallow because of my clients level of ability. We caught about 75 Saturday with most being keepers of 8 inches or more. My clients kept about 20-25 over 10 inches. The wind was tough but not too bad in the protected coves.

Thanks for the report. What part of the lake did you fish?

    Default Abbotts Creek

We fished several areas of Abbotts Creek. It was too crowded for me on the Rowan side. I went to Panther Creek where I had been catching some good ones but it realllllllllllllyyyyyy got crowded so I went to Abbotts to get away from everyone. I tried a few of my old reliable areas and sure enough they were there. If I told you anymore I would have to kill you. LOL

Don't want you to do that. We probably fish alot of the same areas in abbotts. I have seen you there 3-4 times over the last couple years.
