    The shaft has a vertical crack in the shaft didn’t want water to get inside the shaft wondering if the shaft could be replaced I live in Morganton and nobody that I know of works trolling motors

    You can do that yourself, very easy. Just order the parts (about $60) and its a 20 minute fix, if that. Youtube will show you exactly how, but its pretty easy to figure out just by looking.

    The shafts of minnkota are warrantied for life though, if there is a service shop near you that isnt a 30-90 day wait. Minnkota probably wouldnt send you parts under warranty, but you could try.
