Thread: Belews Lake report 3-23-24

Went out on Belews today between noon & 4pm. Pulling curly tail jigs between .7 and 1.0 mph.... Wind was whipping so I tried to stay on protected shorelines. Water temps 58-60 degrees below the 65 bridge, 60-62 north of it.

Caught 8 crappie but all small fish. Ranging between dink and 8". Also 2 bass. All fish were caught near the 158 bridge, suspended in 25 feet of muddy water.


I got a kick out of this little fish - he was small but he had a gut full of shad
