Hi North Carolina. I like to go to the NC/VA line on the Northwest River and catch yellor/ring perch each year. I caught ZERO last year and my first trip this years was another 0. Guys are telling me that there are nets down river and someone is loading up on the perch. Does anyone have any info on this? Wondering if it is true. Could they really catch and keep so many that there are few left to make the run up? If so, what the heck? No fish left for anglers and what about the fish getting a chance to lay their eggs.

Any info please?

Thanks,

Dayton
