Looking forward to fishing with you guys. Might be a little on the cool side, but the fish should still be biting.
Come join the Central Carolina Trail on the 20th. Will be the first Harris tournament of the year and the big ones should be chewing with the upcoming weather this week.
$100 entry and $25 membership.

Yesterday was probably the toughest day most, if not all, of us have faced. I've fished tournaments in which my line would freeze to the pole and I've fished tournaments in difficult wind, but I've never fished both at the same time. Add a wind chill in the teens for a good part of the day and it made an interesting day of fishing. But, despite all the conditions, the fish were biting. We had seven fish in the livewell by 9:15, but that is when the wind really kicked up. With the water temperatures in the mid-40's, bait presentation was critical for a bite. We were on fish the whole day, but some just didn't want to bite and the wind made it so hard to get the bait in the strike zone. Congratulations to all those that came out and to the top winners.
