    Default High rock lake


    I was wanting to start long lining some jigs on the lake here soon. I know they suspended trolling bite normally starts up about now. Anyone having any luck catching them suspended yet trolling?

    I haven't had much luck trolling this fall. Usually this is the best time of the year for me. I've got a couple more trips left before short days and deer season so maybe it will get better

    Seen couple long liners catching them on main lake channel. one guy said he boated 25 keepers in 3 hrs. But normally end of Nov is when they start really suspended in large numbers in the big creek arms and you can wear them out.

    main lake in front second creek and heading north but I always check all areas of the main channel as they will be in multiple spots. When it gets colder and the shad seek shallower water they will move into the major creeks and the crappie will not be too far behind.
