I'm always at least generation or two behind just because I wait for stuff to go on sale. That being said, I have a Lowrance HDS Live 12 now that is best I've had.
Hey everyone,
So with all the technology that has came along these days I was just curious what type of electronics y’all have/like to use the most.

The biggest side image you can afford will help you the most !Brands are just by choice they are all fairly competitive now some may be a tad bit better than others .but as said already if you aren’t in a hurry wait for a good sale durning the holidays or keep your eye open for a good used one !

I heard that shadboy and I think we have a similar unit except mine is a smaller screen. Humminbird helix 7. Slabprowler I’ve learned over the past few months side imaging helps a bunch… I’ve got a map card for mine as well and I’m a big fan of that especially on lakes I haven’t fished a lot.

Fully converted Garmin guy here. I was always used to Lowrance as that was what my Dad used but after being extremely picky for YEARS before buying my rig, I went Garmin.
- Force trolling motor
- EchoMap Ultra 126sv (bow)
- EchoMap Ultra 106sv (dash)
- Livescope + LVS32 transducer
- GT56UHD transom transducer
Everything is networked together and I'll be honest, the most impressive part about all of it is the ClearVü sonar return.

I have Halex 7's. One on the console with Side Scan and the other at the bow with Down Scan. After I added LiveScope, the Front Helix is now used just for mapping.
