    Default Lake Hickory crappie

Took some friends this afternoon, dipping minnows and jigs, fish were 12-15ft on brush, bite was real light even on the minnows. Kept 6 crappie and 2 decent perch for them to enjoy for tomorrow dinner. I believe they may have been on a morning bite but fun none the less. No pics, sorry!

Hickory is a tough place to fish for Crappie. The population is so low, NC wildlife has to stock it every year. If you can find them, there’s some good ones in there.
