The wife and I finally found 14 in 21 foot water this afternoon. Spent the first hour we were there trying to find an area that wasn't so muddy. Then had a decent bite. Water temp was 62.

Ron Believe it or not I haven't wet a hook yet this year and only ran the boat one time! I know the water has been muddy for a while and the wind has kept me off the water plus a few projects have kept me busy but I intend to get back soon

Went pig hunting satuday. Little fish were stupidly aggressive. Caught several by accident while repositioning for bigger fish, with my jig hanging over the side. Didnt fish for numbers, was going for weight. needed to upgrade a couple. best 7 were 13.31 with 1.54, 1.56. 1.69, 1.94, 2.07, 2.11, 2.40. Could shake those 1.50s

Keep practicing at the big ones. I got a lot of learning to do with the Mega Live. Had it three weeks and looked at it twice in the water only a few minutes due to fishing another way and with another nonuser. I'll get there.

Keep after it. It's a game changer. Just when I thought I had it figured out, I went looking on a 3ft flat. Everything in shallow water looks like a sea monster. Everything is super spooky too, except the gar lol

You'll leave some fish for us I think we are ready to make the trip after Easter weekend. We will be checking back to ask for conditions of the lake. You'll missed a good crappie fest yesterday, kids won out with all having a five fish limits and a couple of bruisers for big fish. Windy conditions and cold air but I didn't see a shiver anywhere!
