    Go to High Rock Sunday for a couple days anyone know of a motel close! Where is best place to put in ! Get bait ! It is first time going taking the wife hope it turns out ok. Is it a good lake to long line ? Thanks for any help y’all can help me with.

    I don't know what HR is doing right now but the fellows that come up there from SC like HR. We fish it longlining and tight lining.
    We fair pretty well every time we go up there. Hope you do well on your trip. I think your wife will be catching some fish.

    Closest motels I know of are one the southside of Lexington on hwy.#8.There are also some in Salisbury.
    Bait at Tamarac marina,Hills minnow farm on Rowan co side. A couple of places up #8 on Davidson co side.
    Longlining should be getting ready to bust loose.

    85 north to Jake Alexander Blvd in Salisbury. A couple motels at the exit. High Rock is about 10 minutes away
