I fished James last week twice. Tuesday water temp upper end of lake was 49 highest I seen it. Clear water. Caught several, biggest 13". Stacked on drop offs about 15ft. Went back Thursday after the rain on Wednesday. Stained water. Highest surface temp reading was 52. Couldnt find fish. Trolled and trolled watching the graph with very little luck. Fish had moved off the drop-offs and where to....I have no clue! Couldnt find them shallow or deep. Finicky lake for sure.
