Tuesday we fished a major creek coming into a main lake. The water was four degrees cooler where we fished than the main lake. To me that's a significant difference. We caught quite a few dinks (40+), eight inches or less. We managed 12 keepers, three of which were 12". We picked up some bait fish on the depth finder but not enough to make me feel there were lots in the area. The water depth was 8 to 10 feet were we caught fish. Almost all were caught on jigs. Were the cooler water temps the reason?
I know, your going to ask what creek, what lake? I'm more interested in your thoughts about the water temps.
