    Default Terrova update

I ended up ordering a new Terrova through BPS. The Concord store had none in stock, just found out a few days ago they are no longer stocking this item. Had to pay 75.00 shipping, it was worth it not having to drive to Concord. Its up and running. Spot lock is doing what I expected it to, keeping me on those deep brush piles. Can't fish more than three rods by myself, the bite is just to much too often, that's a good thing.
I guess my only problem are there are quite a few buttons on the remote. Yes I've pushed the wrong ones. You need to be careful where your lines are as the trolling motor comes on without warning when in spot lock.
I only fish the two best days of the year, when its raining and when its not!

There is a way to calm the reaction down on spot-lock. Go into system and select boat scale and set it to -2. It will make it less aggressive when it drift off the spot and when you jog.

The BT models can also be linked to a cellphone app. Doesn't have all of the features of the remote but close. Sure is a good backup for the remote Name: Screenshot_20211007-060944_i-Pilot.jpg

I haven't downloaded the app yet. I'm not so sure its a good thing for me. I can see my phone in the water the first time I use it.

I use the phone app at night. Although the screen on the remote is lit. The buttons are not. With the app on the phone it is easier to see

I had a bad thought. As much as we use our phone for everything. One day when a bad guy wants to screw things up for everyone he will "Have an APP for that". lol

I can't say I wouldn't get some laughs out of taking control of another fella's trolling motor. That could make for some laughs

You have to use the button on the head of the trolling motor to get it to pair with the phone
