My offer to fish with you at Jordan or Harris is longstanding and continuing... whether we fish together in the same boat or together in our own boat(s)... it's always been fun and informative... at least for me... and I'm sure it always will be.
I am looking for a fishing friend because I don't like to fish alone. I have a 17' Carolina Skiff that fishes two people very nicely. I like to fish for Crappie mostly but can fish for other kinds of fish also. I live in Four Oaks so I fish Jordan, Harris, Buckhorn, and would like to learn about Falls. I also fish at the coast in the sounds during the fall.
I like to use my boat but can fish in other boats some also. I am retired so I prefer to fish during the week when it is not so crowed. I do not drink or smoke so that is not for me. I fish for fun and like a few for supper but I'm not out to fill the boat.
If you are interested or know someone you can message me and we can see if maybe it will work for both of us.

I knew I would get this answer from you. When you think it is time I am ready, I will need to go through Fuquey to get there from here???

I will be touching base with you pretty soon, I'm sure... to scratch this awful itch I am having to put some slabs in the boat... and satisfy this long-time gnawing hunger I've had for some time, for fresh fillets, hush puppies, slaw, and french fry supper coming up in my very near future.

Hi, Looking at your post maybe we can work something out. I am retired also, got a little 14 foot not a great fisherman only crappie maybe bass usually been fishing in the fall and spring a little cooler, I think the fish keep better plus a little easier to catch . So don't know what you have in mind or if you already have enough people interested ,might want to meet up sometime and introduce each other.Things being the way they are on the internet but at least with the club sort of like mind . I live in Cary normally fish Jordon .I do enjoy fishing by my self but starting to think it not all that safe if you have engine problems extra

Festus I fish mostly crappie and mostly from Sept thu. Feb.. I take a couple weeks off in Oct. Nov. to fish for reds and trout at the coast. We can talk about it and maybe meet somewhere for breakfast one morning. We can fish seperate boats or you could fish with me or your boat if it has the room. Thanks for the reply.

Sea dancer : One thing good , seems like we both like to fish more toward cooler weather .My boat is fine for one person two is a bit crowed when I take my neighbor with both of are gears it is ok for drift fishing for the spawn but long line one siting behind the other not so good. Up to now I have been launching close to where fish, only have 15 hp so that is a little bit about my set up. I see four oaks close to Benson ? Breakfast sounds fine Fridays are quite busy for me so I guess let me know
Hi:mac crappie Your name sounds like your dedicated to crappie , thanks for the invite . Kind of refreshing that not everybody that goes to Jordan is an idiot .So that being said maybe sometime you are going to Jordon any way I could run over and meet you and talk see how we get along ,you don't know me I would want you to confront able ,that way you would not be obligated and not a special trip. I think I am pretty easy going not a great fisherman but get enough to eat so I am happy. Hvae a good day
