Meghan and I took a day off and launched at Farrington this morning. Under the Farrington Bridge, lot's of fish showing up on the electronics, but no bites. We made the long run to the haw end. Plenty of fish up there too...no bites. I finally tried a spot in the s-curves I hadn't fished in 12 years. 3 hours later, we had boated 22 fish over 11". Around noon, they were belly to the bottom in rocks 20-24' deep. By 3, they had moved out and suspended 20'-24' down over 26-36'.
I was impressed with the weights of the crappie in the s-curves. There was no discernable difference in the weight:length ratio I'm accustomed from the 64/farrington range.
All jigs no minnows.
I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I couldmac crappie, SuperDave336, Riverdog, BigDawgg, SEA DANCER, Nosjunkie240, CrappieKrazy LIKED above post
