you never know, eh?
I threw a line yesterday off the dock; caught one in 2 1/2 foot of water...never know
Fished Jordan Thursday from 8 am till 12 and did not get a bite. I was tight line in the lower lake from 64 bridge area and s turn area. I had bottomed out in 14 ft of water and pulled all lines up to about 5 or 6 ft to get to deeper water and two rods went down. Two nice crappie. I was in the mouth of a small cove so I stayed there and pulled at less than 8ft in 14ft of water and ended up catching 15 crappie, 1 white pearch, one White Bass, and 2 small Stripe Bass. I could not believe it. If I dropped a bait below 8ft nothing would hit it. This is late Oct. but the water temp is still 72*.
Bottom line...I hade a great day on the water.

Thanks for report sea dancer, will be going tomorrow. That's how I found alot of crappie last year. Was going to go deep but not now. Thanks for the heads up. I'll post a report.
