Moss is not a great fishing lake most of the time. There are a handful of anglers, who fish several days per week at Moss, that are usually successful. Most of us that fish there do it because it's really close to home. Crappie fishing is fair. Very few stripers, if any in the lake. There are hybrids which are mostly small. Spotted bass, on the other hand, seem to be thriving and are pretty easy to catch. Fishing is easier at most any lake North, South or West of here. Just my 2 cents. And, by the way, it cost like $20/day or $80/year to launch your boat and the ski boats are far too numerous for the size of the lake.

Countryboy N.C. LIKED above post
That is one of the very best sandbagging posts I’ve ever read, lol
Shadboy is correct, Lot better crappie at norman, but you can search my old post and see the size difference between the 2 lakes. But what do I know....I can't catch a fish in a 5 gal bucket! The spotted bass has took over moss lake and the hybirds have been cleaned out of moss. Go try it for your self, you will see.
Personally I like moss lake. Awesome crappie lake in the winter and spring. I do a lot of trolling there. Summer fishing slows down but if you are pulling the right jigs you can catch a few in the mornings. Lots of boats in the summer. You got to go early before the jet ski hit the water. I been fishing there well over 30 years
